Birds are fascinating creatures. They can up and leave a place and fly to wherever else in the world they want to. I wish we had the ability to do that sometimes. That would be ridiculously cool.
Anyway… I got to visit these fascinating creatures at the National Aviary in downtown Pittsburgh and got to capture some of the most iconic breeds that I’ve only ever seen pictures of. Now, I have my own.
I saw a Toucan, Eagles, Finches, Parrots, Flamingoes (AND BABY FLAMINGOES!!!!), and even a Sloth! Such a fun experience and I got a bunch of great pictures.
There’s not really much else to say besides that since the photos speak for themselves. If you’re ever in Pittsburgh and are looking for something fun and different to do, stop by the National Aviary and prepared to be taken into a rainforest full of various different birds flying around you, as well as other rooms with animals such as bats and a sloth! Very, very cool experience.
Check out some of my favorite shots from this adventure and as always, you can check out the rest on my Flickr Portfolio! Share this post as well, if you could!
